CREATIVE COMMUNITY FELLOWSHIP
In 2014, National Arts Strategies selected me to become a member of the very first cohort of the Creative Community Fellows program. The fellowship program is geared towards artists, activists, community organizers, administrators, entrepreneurs and social change-makers who use arts and culture as vehicles for social and physical transformations within their communities.
Throughout the year, I participated in design-thinking trainings, online workshops, group exercises and discussion boards on community building. As fellows, were given the tools, training and access to an incredible network of mentors and field experts, who helped fuel our vision, hone our ideas and propel our thoughts into action.
The fellowship is supported by The Kresge Foundation, University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy & Practice and The Center for Social Impact Strategy, ArtPlace America and RocketHub.
