Hello! I am a cultural entrepreneur and arts manager, currently based in Düsseldorf, Germany. From creative placemaking to cultural exchange and digital innovation projects, I am passionate about projects and ideas that impact and innovate our societies, environments and make our world a more fun, creative and sustainable place. With a focus on new technologies and the creative economy as an agent for social engagement and chance, I enjoy collaborating with creative individuals, nonprofit organizations and local businesses to develop innovative programs and community events.
Currently, I am completing a post-graduate certificate in Social Innovation Management through the Armani Institute in Sao Paulo, Brazil. There, I was able to connect with a diverse network of global change makers and deepened my understanding, skill sets and leadership capacities through coursework and hands on activities in Value Innovation, Human-Centered Design Thinking and Gaming for Social Change. While in Brazil, I also created my own social enterprise project, which was focused on helping the food & festival sector go green through the elimination of plastic disposables.
Before moving to Germany in 2016, I lived in the United States for 15 years, where I was heavily involved in the visual arts community of Washington, DC and worked on projekts to advance the city's creative economy and creative placemaking initiatives.
If you're looking to collaborate on a creative endeavor, could use a helping hand in organizing an event, or simply want a sounding-board to push your ideas further, please drop me a line at agoerner{at}gmail.com.
Feel free to also just say "hello", as I'm always curious to meet new people and excited to learn about creative initiatives across the globe.
Danke, thanks, merci & muito obrigada!
